Paste a checklist, a runbook, a how-to or the sign by the machine. Every number in it is found and sorted by one question: if this number is out of date, will the next person read a healthy thing as broken? "Expect 14" with no date and no way to look it up is the worst kind. Mark each one checked today, point it at where the real value can be read, or cut it.
