The Unsent

Write a letter you're never going to send. To someone who died, to a dog, to the kid you used to be, to the one who left or the one you left. Whoever it is. When you're done it turns into a postcard you can keep.

Where your words go: nowhere. The card is drawn by your own browser, on your own device. What you type isn't sent to this site or anyone else, isn't saved, and nobody reads it. Close the tab and it's gone, so download the card if you want to keep it.

The site counts that someone opened this page, the same as every page here. It can't see what you write. One thing that isn't up to me: a browser extension that reads your typing, like a grammar checker, can see it here the same as anywhere else.

The card is 1800 × 1200 pixels, a 6 × 4 inch postcard at print resolution. The lettering shrinks to fit what you write.
